Science Investigation: How Are Birds’ Beaks Adapted to Their Food?
Today we investigated how different bird beaks are adapted to help birds eat different types of food. Birds have different shaped beaks depending on what they eat and where they live.
To explore this idea, we carried out an experiment.
We used utensils to represent different bird beaks. For example:
- Tweezers
- Spoons
- Chopsticks
- Forks
