Governors

The role of the governing body is to oversee and support the school in providing the best possible education for its pupils.  School governors set the school's aims and policies together with the Headteacher, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school.  Governors have responsibilities in such areas as curriculum, finance, personnel, the school building and premises, as well as for the school's provision regarding special educational needs.  The governing body as a whole is responsible for any decisions made on behalf of the school.

Anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a school governor should contact the Clerk, Georgina Pilley via the school office.
