About me: I moved to Wiltshire in 2007 and currently live between Minety and Charlton. I spent 10 years running a computer communications company before taking time out to bring up my children (I have two grown up daughters). During this time I embarked on some re-training in nutrition, health & wellbeing. I have a 3yr old grandson, two dogs, a cat, and an assortment of chickens. I like motor-sport, fencing, cooking, and learning new things! I believe in everyone having the opportunity to develop themselves to their full potential.

About me: I have taught every year group in a teaching career of 22 years in schools in Gloucestershire.  In 2009 I gained my Head Teacher post at Minety and am very proud to be Head Teacher of such a positive and successful school.

About me: I live in Minety with my husband and 2 children who attend the school. I re-located back to Wiltshire in 2017 and enjoy being part of the village community. Out of work I really enjoy fitness and play netball and swim. I also love dance and take part in ballet inspired and modern style dance classes. I enjoy walks in the countryside with my family and catching up with friends.

Business Interests:  I currently work part-time helping to run a small business in Royal Wootton Bassett, and am also on the Board of two other businesses. I'm also Trustee of a Swindon-based charity, and have been for some years.

About me: Our family lived in Minety for 23 years, and still travel back from our base in Cirencester most weeks for church, school etc. I'm married to Karen, and we have two grown-up children - both of whom were pupils at the school growing up. I'm part of the local village church here in Minety, and am a licensed lay minister - which means I can officially lead worship and give talks in the church.

As a Foundation governor, I'm appointed by the local church to help support the school in recognising its historic links with the Christian faith, and encouraging a Christian ethos and set of values throughout.  I'm chairing the Christian Ethos Committee and also I'm currently lead governor for Music and PSCHE.  Outside all that I enjoy playing football, reading, walking - and sometimes I just relax....

About me: I'm married and have two children in Minety School.   I'm part of the local village church here in Minety, and am a licensed lay minister - which means I can officially lead worship and give talks in the church.

As a Foundation governor, I'm appointed by the local church to help support the school in recognising its historic links with the Christian faith, and encouraging a Christian ethos and set of values throughout.  I am a member of the Christian Ethos Committee and also I'm currently lead governor for Collective Worship and R.E. I also work in Minety Pre-school and enjoy dressmaking, baking and running the parish youth group.

About me: I am a foundation governor and took office in January 2012. I moved to Minety in 2008. I enjoy being part of the community and take an active role in St Leonard's Church groups. I regularly visit the Reception Class for which I am a Link Governor and am also a regular volunteer in the Kickstart club that takes place with our children after school every Wednesday.

About me: Tim moved to Minety in 2014 but grew up locally, he currently has three Children at the school. He brings a wealth of business knowledge from 25 years owning and running small to corporate businesses. During this period Tim took a two year sabbatical where he worked with children’s charities around the world, improving their management and operational performance as well as teaching English and Math’s. He has a particular passion for helping others develop and grow

About me: I live in Minety with my husband Bruce, and our two children Henry and Ellie. I trained as a Registered General Nurse in 1997, and completed a BSc in Community studies in 2001, which led to the qualification of Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing. I worked for a number of years as a District Nursing Sister managing a community caseload and team before taking a developmental post at New College, Swindon as their first College Nurse. The role included being responsible for the health and welfare of both students and staff, part of the child protection team, and the lead for looked after children. I am a member of the PTA. and for the past 3 years have been a parent volunteer in Class 3.

My hobbies include aqua-aerobics, walking and blogging

About me: I moved to Minety in 2013 but grew up locally in Cirencester. I currently have two children at the school. I bring a wealth of business knowledge from 18 years owning and running businesses specialising in e-commerce and digital marketing. I love utilising and enhancing technology to make our lives more efficient and effective, but am also a big believer in getting outside and exploring the world and not living behind a screen. When not working I love sailing, either competing or exploring our amazing planet via the ocean. In addition to the Minety Governor position, I also sit on the Cirencester Career Ready Board and gift my time to the local charity Winston's Wish.

About me: I moved to the village in 2005 and my four children all attend Minety C of E Primary School. Professionally I have a First Class BSc HONS in Midwifery and since 2005 have worked for the Great Western NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon, providing antenatal, intra-partum and postnatal care. I currently work specifically in the high risk delivery unit, that strives to deliver safe and effective evidence-based practice to women and their families. In my spare time I love to escape to the coast with my family and read a good book!

About me: I have been teaching since 1971; initially in Birmingham where I trained, then in Germany for the MoD, in Swindon and finally Wiltshire. I was Deputy Head teacher at Oliver Tomkins School in Swindon for 6 years from 1989, and then moved to Ashton Keynes where I was Head teacher until my retirement in 2008. 

Since 2008 I spend my time in exercise classes, singing in a Rock Choir, skiing and / or other holidays whenever I can. I also enjoy cooking and visiting galleries and theatres. I have volunteered at the Prospect Hospice and with the Ridgeway Breast care Support group for 6 years as treasurer.

About me: I am the EYFS teacher at Minety School and am lucky to be involved in other areas in the school, including science club and a book group which is linked to the Cheltenham Literacy Festival.    I have lived in Wiltshire / Gloucestershire for over 20 years.  I have three grown up daughters – who are now all taller than me.   I love reading, the theatre and am a keen open water swimmer, when I am not on my bicycle or walking up hills.
